Dial-in tips for the Gaggia Classic Pro
Single boiler, no PID.
Temperature surfs 90–96°C.
OPV must be adjusted to 9 bar for proper extraction (stock is ~12 bar).
Temperature surfing technique: run pump 2–3 seconds after ready light, then wait 5–10 seconds before pulling.
Many owners add a PID mod (Auber, Shelly plug).
Do not suggest precise temp targets without confirmed PID.
Grind is the primary dial-in lever.
